The Advanced Imaging and Inverse Methods Group

We are an energetic group of people working in the area of plasma physics research, but with a particular emphasis on developing novel imaging systems and associated inverse methods that also have broad application in science and industry. 

We develop imaging systems spanning the microwave to optical and xray regions and plasma applications include time-resolved tomographic reconstruction of basic properties such as temperature, density and flow.  Our instruments and techniques have also found application in blackbody temperature imaging and multi-spectral colour discrimination.
