We study phenomena in non-equilibrium complex systems, such as biological fluids and turbulent flows, as well as self-organisation in such systems. We work on a range of fundamental and applied problems in physics and engineering, such as micro-swimmers, methods of controlling diffusion, manipulation of particles and microorganisms in biological and microfluidics systems.
