I am a PhD student at the Nonlinear Physics Centre at The Australian National University. My research is in the area of singular optics. I study fundamental properties of wave singularities. Some examples are optical vortices (twisted light; points of perfect destructive interference) and spectral singularities (occurring in specially structured periodic systems, such as graphene). I am also interested in the effect of nonlinearity in these settings.
