Model 249 Spectrometer
The Model 249 is a Table Model, Three Meter Grazing Incidence Spectrometer consisting of a stainless steel vacuum chamber and grating housing, flange for mounting 4-inch (5-3/8" I.D.) pumping system, O-ring face plate for attaching vacuum connections to slit assembly or camera attachments. Stationary bilateral slit assembly with positions from 82° to 88°, precision machined stainless steel curved ways, stainless steel bellows to connect slit assembly to the main chamber. Entire unit is mounted on a granite base plate for extreme stability and isolation from vibration.
