Model 225 Spectrometer

The Model 225 NOVA VUV Monochromator can be used in any attitude and has with the exception of the grating table all moving parts external. It features 1.0 meter focal length and the normal incidence design eliminates all other optics except the grating in use. With the proper gratings selected it covers the wavelength range between 30 and 1200 nm. It offers horizontal aperture ratio of f /10.4 with a 56 x 96 mm wide grating. A 1200 G/mm grating provides an accuracy of ± 0.1 nm. Focusing is external and the external precision sine drive scan mechanism is easily connected to an optional stepper drive. The unit has no internal ribbing and the internally welded chamber is made of austenitic stainless steel. The two standard slit tubes are equipped with bilaterally adjustable slit assemblies with isolation valve, air inlet and roughing valve.

Optionally, the unit can be equipped with a dual in vacuo indexable turret type grating holder that will hold two selected gratings.

The basic unit requires selection and ordering of grating(s) and holder(s), stepping drive system, pumping system and support table.

If additional lateral slit tubes are ordered, additional entrance and exit slits and folding mirrors should also be selected.
