Model 2035 Spectrometer

The Model 2035:

• Can be supplied in your choice of entrance/exit configuration and allows the use of dual entrance ports, dual exit ports, and a dual grating turret within the same experiment. Dual ports are accessed by 90 degree mirror assemblies which are optionally motor driven and RS 232 interfaced.
• Comes complete with "Snap-In" grating holders fitted to a single grating mount or dual turret to enable ease of interchangeability. Additional gratings may be installed without any alignment procedure. The "Snap-In" holder permits simple and precise positioning.
• Flat field, imaging optical system easily permits adaptation to commercial PDA/CCD type detectors. These adapters are manufactured for your specific detector model.
• Provides precision bilaterally adjustable slit assemblies. The width is varied by micrometer from 10 um to 4 mm. The micrometer is directly readable to 10 um and 1 um is attainable through interpolation. Slit height is adjusted by occulter from 2 mm to 20 mm. The entrance slits are optionally motor driven and RS 232 controllable.
• Proves its versatility by continuing the McPherson modular philosophy. This individual component approach makes mounting accessories and changing experiments only a moment's task.
• Out performs it competitors, exceeding specifications of comparable monochromators in resolution, dispersion, wavelength accuracy, wavelength reproducibility.
• The heavy duty aluminum construction creates high stability within any environment, especially with respect to vibrational or thermal effects.
• Operates manually as well as with a scan controller. This eliminates the need to return to a control panel when initially setting the spectrometer.
• Offers a scanning system which is directly coupled to a mechanical lead screw wavelength drive. The mechanical screw and sine arm generate the sinusoidal motion required for scanning a spectrometer. This mechanical sub-step is more expensive to produce than the direct worm drive offered by many other companies but it ensures stability and repeatability and provides the user with means of manually tuning the wavelength.
• Can be supplied with a variety of scan controllers ranging from low resolution to 50,000 steps/rev: front panel, RS 232, or IEEE controlled: optional closed loop operation with absolute optical encoders.
