McPherson Tungsten Halogen light source is a high energy unit (f/2) with a 100 W lamp. This source produces an intense continuum from 400 nm to 2 microns. With its compact, forced air cooled housing, and UV grade lens focusing assembly, it is the perfect unit for use in high intensity illumination and spectrometry applications.
This light source mounts directly to McPherson and Minuteman monochromator entrance slit assemblies. Specify the spectrometer to be used and we will install apertures (or selected lens systems) for f/no. matching.
When ordering, please select between AC and DC power supplies. The DC power supply offers superb stability and < 0.1% ripple at full power operation. The AC power supply offers a more economical solution, when stability requirements are not as demanding.
Complete systems include power supply, cables, housing and lamp, ready for operation.
