Abstract
A considerable change in microwave absorption in weak magnetic fields has been observed for metal oxide ceramics belonging to the Me-Ba(Sr)-Cu-O systems (Me=La, Y, etc.). The effect is explained qualitatively by a transition from the Meissner to the mixed state or by the properties of a ceramic considered as a macroscopic Josephson medium.
