Abstract
The autoionization a and b parameters as functions of ejected electron angle have been calculated for the helium (2s/sup 2/)/sup 1/S,(2s2p)/sup 1/P and (2p/sup 2/)/sup 1/D resonances in the coplanar nonsymmetric (e,2e) reaction at the incoming electron energy/scattering angle of 400 eV/16 degrees , 200 eV/13 degrees and 100 eV/13 degrees . Multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock calculations of the resonances as well as of the helium ground state have been performed. Distorted wave Born approximation with exchange has been used for the (e,2e) cross-section calculation with distorted waves being calculated in the Hartree-Fock field of the helium neutral atom or positive ion. Calculated parameters agree well with experimental 400 eV/16 degrees data whereas only a qualitative resemblance exists for 200 eV/13 degrees and 100 eV/13 degrees kinematics. (21 References).
