Abstract

The authors present new results of calculation of relative intensities for a number of satellite lines in Ar and Xe. The existence of the difference between corresponding values derived from (e,2e) and ( gamma ,e) experiments is explained, being entirely attributed to the effect of ground state correlations in the considered atoms. Good agreement with recent experimental data is achieved. (6 References).
