R-SPORT was Volvo's MOTORSPORT division that developed and sold a wide range of popular performance parts through the 1970 and 80's.
Listed below are extracts from the R-Sport 1979 and 1985 cataloges for the 240 and 700 Series.

Editor's note: Most of these parts have been out of production for years now, but some do remain in inventory.
At the very least this document will be a useful guide for identifing unusual or rare R-Sport parts previously enjoyed, or found new still in boxes.
Steffansson Automotive (SAM) in Sweden bought out Volvo's remaining R-Sport stock.

Webpage comment	Large diameter Volvo OEM bar sizes were Front 23 and Rear 23 & 25mm - Big bars were not necessarily *exclusive to R-Sport as these sizes were available under Volvo numbers. [ *At initial release time they might have been exclusive]. I have seen an anchor symbol near the eyelit, but not part numbers. All Volvo bars have thick gloss black paint.
