Grants for students

Student Registrations are Paid by the Sponsors

This event is sponsored by the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI). AMSI allocates a travel allowance annually to each of its member universities (for list of members, see www.amsi.org.au/member.html). Students or early career researchers from AMSI member universities without access to a suitable research grant may apply to their Head of Department of Head of Discipline for subsidy of travel and accommodation for this event out of the departmental travel allowance.

Other grants might be available, interested students can apply by writing an e-mail to: granular.matter@anu.edu.au, with subject “Granular Matter Grant”.

In the mail the interested student must specify the current student status, and the name and e-mail of his/her supervisor.
