About ANTaR ACT

ANTaR ACT is a dynamic coalition of individuals and community group representatives.

ANTaR ACT acts as a focus for people who support reconciliation with, and justice for, Australian Indigenous peoples.

ANTaR ACT recognises the rights of Indigenous Australians as confirmed by the Mabo and Wik High Court decisions and sees native title rights as an essential element of reconciliation. We work with other community groups in Canberra in raising these issues.

We produce a newsletter three times a year and have a presence at most large events in and around Canberra.

We can provide a speaker for your next event to talk about what we do or more specific issues.
