28 July - 8 Aug 1997, Australian National University, Canberra.

These workshops were held immediately after the XIIth International Congress of Mathematical Physics to be held in Brisbane from 13-19 July 1997. Participants were encouraged to attend the Congress. Details of which can be obtained from icmp97@maths.uq.oz.au or via the WWW homepage http://www.maths.uq.oz.au/~icmp97 .

ORGANISERS

The workshops were organised by Murray T Batchelor, Rodney J Baxter and Vladimir V Bazhanov of the School of Mathematical Sciences and the National Centre for Theoretical Physics in the Australian National University.

SITES

The first workshop was held at the Greenmount Beach Resort in Coolangatta, Queensland, 20-26 July 1997. The second workshop was held at the Australian National University in Canberra, 28 July - 8 August 1997.
